A few weeks ago, we all made lists of the top 5 most anticipated movies for this summer. The oddball of my list was a small picture called The Bling Ring. The film was written and directed by Sofia Coppola, it stars Harry Potter veteran Emma Watson as the ringleader of a group of girls who break into the homes of celebrities like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox and steal jewelry and clothes from them.

The new Bling Ring trailer doesn’t even clock in at a full two minutes, but it shows quite a lot in such a short amount of time. They offer a better look at the girls, and what kind of people they are. They also did a good job of establishing the strange dark comedy-meets-satire tone, and just how unusual a movie this will end up being.
The Bling Ring opens in limited release in the United States on June 14th.
