Renegades, mount up!

The Oscars are once again here, and we at Renegade Cinema will once again be covering the festivities! This year predicting the top categories isn’t an easy task. Many categories can potentially have huge upsets, and others can be anyone’s game. The top two categories– Best Director and Best Picture— appear to be neck-in-neck as far as who could walk away with a statue. Birdman and Boyhood are huge locks in both, question is though– Who will edge out in each category? And will one movie take home both Oscars statues? We’ll see!

Other Oscars categories can have unpredictable outcomes, such as Best Actor, which seems to be a lock for Eddie Remayne (The Theory of Everything), but Michael Keaton (Birdman) could pull a huge upset here. In the technical side, Best Achievement in Visual FX is fast tracking for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, however, Interstellar is showing potential to steal the win. It’s going to be an interesting night for sure, and the Renegade writers are ready to see the outcome.

Stay tuned at Renegade Cinema as we cover the Oscars winners! Also, how many of our predictions we will get correct? Just keep refreshing the page as we update the winners!

Happy Oscars everyone! Enjoy the show and make sure to refresh this page for the latest in our live 2015 Oscars coverage!
