For a couple of months now, Jason Momoa has been rumored to be appearing in the Warner Bros. movies as Aquaman. However, when he is asked about it, he usually laughs it off and denies the casting. This past week, HitFix said that Momoa was cast as Aquaman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Finally, Momoa was thrown onto TV and was asked the question point blank by Jimmy Kimmel.

What is great is that Jason Momoa didn’t deny it. As a matter of fact, his reaction says that the HitFix confirmation is true. Check out the video of his Jimmy Kimmel appearance where they talk about it at the start of the video.

So, Kimmel straight up asks if he is playing Aquaman and Momoa basically says, “wouldn’t it be cool” and that we’ll have to wait and see. I almost guarantee the announcement that the Aquaman casting of Jason Momoa will come at ComicCon next month.

The entire interview was pretty funny, with Kimmel showing a photo from Momoa in Game of Thrones and then showing a picture of Aquaman and asking if Momoa was going to don the green leotards.

Momoa was actually on the Jimmy Kimmel show to talk about his new movie, which is also directed, called Road to Paloma.  Check out the synopsis for that film, which is on the festival circuit.

Wolf, a Native American on the run after avenging his mother’s murder, flees across the desolate American West on his motorcycle, where he’ll discover that justice has a cost.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice comes out on May 6, 2016.
