Those who remember when the site first started might recall the time I reviewed A Good Day to Die Hard, and completely ripped it a new butthole. When it comes to films, I usually try to be fair, and sometimes I even feel a little too lenient with some features. With this in mind, when I give a film a 2 out of 10 score, then you know I truly have nothing but pure unadulterated hatred for that experience. From the way it sounds, I may not be the only one because now FOX appears to be trying to bring back a familiar face to the dying franchise.

die hard 6Latino Review reports that FOX is taking pitches from various writers to tackle a creative way to reunite John Mclane and Zeus Carver (Played by Sam Jackson) for a 6th outing for Die Hard. This will be the first reunion of Bruce Willis and Sam Jackson in the franchise since Die Hard with a Vengeance, which is by far my personal favorite in the franchise. Will this actually happen? I’m not holding my breath, but it’s certainly a nice idea.

Personal opinion, I’m not sure what Sam Jackson can do to make this franchise have credibility again if they are not willing to consider a decent story first. Yes, I’m sure there is clever ways to bring back Zeus , but we need the Hard be put back in Die Hard first. What made the first three films so fantastic was John Mclane wasn’t a supercop. He bled, he ached, he hurt, and he was a normal guy in the worst situation. They need to get the character grounded again, and same goes for Zeus. Sam Jackson was just a pawn shop owner, and nothing more. Focus on great characters and story first and the rest will follow. Also, someone keep Bruce’s  ego in check once production rolls.

What do you think? Would you like to see Sam Jackson return to Die Hard? Do you even care about Die Hard 6? Tell us below!
