Top 5 Movie Trailers

Phantasm 5: Ravager

Holy Sweet Mother of God – if you are fans at all of the original Phantasm movies (and why the hell wouldn’t you be, you charlatans?), you should love this new trailer for the fifth movie in the series. Now only is series creator Don Coscarelli back, but so are the original cast members including The Tall Man Angus Scrimm and Michael Baldwin. Check it out:

Lucy

So, Scarlett Johansson showed in the new Captain America movie a more sensitive side to The Black Widow. Well, throw that out the window in her next movie Lucy. This is directed by Luc Besson and has Johansson get kidnapped and have drugs placed inside her to deliver. When they start to leak, something happens that allows her to use almost 100% of her brain’s capacities which means she can … well, watch the trailer and see.

Shaun the Sheep Movie

Shaun the Sheep was a TV show by Aardman Studios, the guys who brought us Wallace & Gromit. If you have seen then TV show, you will completely get this trailer. If not, it may give you a little hint as to what it might be like. It’s coming in 2015.

The Expendables 3

All three editions of the film series had movie trailers like this one and – honestly – they are what gets me excited about seeing the movie. This is the ROLL CALL trailer and Wesley Snipes even gets a line at the end!

The Drop

The first thing I thought when I saw this movie trailer was how great James Gandolfini was. This looks just right up his alley too, especially when you think of Tony Soprano. It also stars Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace and is written by the author of Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone.
