The Great Gatsby

Baz Luhrmann returns with his next huge production, this one an adaptation of a classic piece of literature – The Great Gatsby. The movie was – as most Luhrmann films are – polarizing as Leo DiCaprio plays Gatsby and is surrounded by an impressive cast including Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire.

Pain & Gain

Michael Bay took a break from his Transformers franchise to make a “little movie,” which for him means about $30 million and names like Mark Wahlberg and The Rock. In this flick, a group of bodybuilders decide to kidnap a schmuck and force him to sign over a bunch of money to them. Things go bad. It is based on a true story and is a lot of fun, which is all that is expected from a Michael Bay movie.

Kon Tiki

So, if you are interested in seeing the movie that helped Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg get the gig to direct the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie, look no further. Kon Tiki tells the true story of a man who crossed the Pacific Ocean on a wooden raft in 1947. Imagine Life of Pi without the CGI and religious undertones.

  • Full-length Academy Award Nominated Foreign Language Feature Film (Norwegian)
  • Kon Tiki: The Incredible True Story
  • Visual Effects Featurette
