Godzilla SequelAs we all know, North America is going to get another shot at Godzilla after completely blowing it with 1998’s attempt. The director, Gareth Edwards, was asked about the possibility of a sequel after we get the Godzilla Begins, and here’s what he had to say:

“With the exception of the 1954 original, I would say my second favorite film is Destroy All Monsters. I just love the idea of a monster island. Having a world with these creatures in it. I find that fascinating and would like to treat that realistically. I wouldn’t want to limit it to one other foe, I think it’s more fun to – this question will come back to haunt me if we ever do a sequel – but I think multiple creatures make better movies in terms of the image of Gojira.”

I think it sounds like a fine idea, personally. The most fun you can have in a Godzilla film is watching him have a tussle with all sorts of creatures, as you can really only watch him destroy buildings for so long. I, however, have 2 questions:

1. Will we see Godzilla dance again?
2. More importantly, will we see Jet Jaguar?
